Ⓥ Cleanwich Ⓥ

Ⓥegan sandwiches are my favorite. They are usually quick, easy and delicious. The bigger the sandwich, the better. The better the sandwich, the messier the sandwich. Let’s clean things up just a bit. And with the ingredients being so clean, how about a sandwich that doesn’t involve a few napkins.

A homemade Veggie Burger with a condiment//dressings sandwich within a sandwich.

A pre sandwich bicycle ride with a few Beers is a necessity. Open your throat and open your mind, responsibly and safely.

Thrice Baked Potatoes were prepared on the side. Simple and delicious.

A prior Rice concoction was utilized. I did not write down the ingredients. Along with the rice concoction, Carrots, Lightlife ‘sausage’ and ‘beef’, chopped Daiya and Instant Mashed potatoes were mended together and cooked in an oil-less copper skillet.

The condiment-wich was a mixture of Iceberg Lettuce, Vegenaise, Liquid Smoke, Garlic and chopped Spinach, Tomato, Onion & Avocado. Bigger Tortillas were warmed and stuffed with the mixed veggies and then folded shut. Gluten-free and Ⓥegan waffles were baked with Daiya and top. Dill Weed and Chipotle powder were lightly sprinkled on top before combining the waffles and condiments into sandwich form.

The Bun was spread (top and bottom insides) with Earth Balance Coconut Spread and Grilled face down. The Cleanwich was combined and cut in half to be plated with the Thrice Baked Potatoes and then destroyed, cleanly.

Zucchini Bread

A loaf of Zucchini Bread was prepared and gifted to myself from my wonderful mother a few days ago. Questions were not asked about what was in it. I thanked her and was excited to have it. Perfection is impossible. Vegan Zucchini Bread is possible (at a later time).

I mashed Bananas, blueberry and Daiya ‘cream cheese’. A Mortar and pestle from my college years crushed Raw mixed Nuts to be combined, also. A small splash of Pineapple Juice was also included.

The Zucchini Bread was grilled along with Pineapple slices. A blender blending appropriately.

Asparesto Margarita

Asparesto was marinated with its self for days.

Roasted Asparagus, Sunflower Seeds, Garlic and CrushedRedPepper/SeaSalt/Pepper were blended with Sugar and Veggie Broth.

Vegan Mozz was abundantly used to be topped off with the best Tomato slices I’ve ever had in Bushel Boy.

Eggless Tofurky Rolls

Washing dishes is one of my least favorite things to do. A bagged coleslaw mix literally was my mixing bowl for this concept. The mixture included diced Green Peppers, Tomato, Onion, Coleslaw mix, French Dressing, Vegenaise, Sunflower Seeds and SeaSalt/Pepper.

Lavash Bread is amazing and extremely versatile. Lavash Bread was lined peppered Tofurky slices, the Coleslaw mix and then rolled up to served cut in half with a Good Beer or three:)

Mexicana Rigatoni

I dare you to diffuse normality, confusingly infusing uncommonly concocted ingredients.  Mexican-style ingredients and dishes are most comforting, to me. Also, usually inexpensive. Dream it up, prepare it and destroy it. Learning, adapting and evolving the realm of thought that went into an adaptation. The marinate was a mixture of Broth, Pineapple Juice, BBQ Sauce, Molasses, Wasabi Powder, Cilantro, Ginger, Garlic, SeaSalt/Pepper/Sugar, diced Cucumber, Sesame Seed, Sesame Oil, Poblano Pepper and Sesame Seed Oil to marinade TOFU, Pineapple & Onion slices.
