GardenIn protein, Tofutti dairy less slices, Go Veggie ‘parmesan cheese’, Earth Balance ‘butter’ and ‘mayo’ were some ingredients utilized today.

The steakless Fries were cut, boiled and baked before pan-fried. The texture is perfect for the ingredients infused. (Good) Tequila, (little) Oil, Crushed Red Pepper, Sea Salt, Pepper, Parmesan ‘cheese’, Garlic Powder and Chives were panfried with Red and Yellow Potatoes to create an amazing side dish.

Bigger Rolls were cut and lathered with Earth Balance ‘butter’ before being quickly grilled and set aside. The GardenIn protein, beefless burgers and breakfast ‘sausage’ patties, were also grilled before being smothered with Pico De Gallo and baked to confuse and infuse these flavors. Tofutti slices to be topped and melted. The ‘sausage’ patties were stacked on top the beefless burgers, artistically.

Sakitumi from Lagunitas Brewing was utilized with a huge variety of vegetables and Veggie Broth to marinade Tofurky ‘roast beef’ slices. Among those Vegetables were; Onion, Green, Red & Yellow Peppers, Carrot, Broccoli, Cucumber, Rice and more. A Pretzel Bun, Daiya and BBQ Sauce were involved also to create this delicious sandwich.

Happy Monday

Hello all. Apologizes (if any care:) for the three-week hiatus from WordPress. A world as I once knew is over and has been shaken up like die in a Yahtzee cup to be tossed out ever so strategically.

Within six days of first being aware of an amazing career opportunity, it was final. From finding out that this career opportunity was mine, seven days were mine to prepare for a move.

Living out of a hotel for twelve straight nights were experience. My second day, I (with others) was flown out-of-state for training, but still stayed in a hotel. Eating healthy wasn’t always the easiest. A few times I made Vegan exceptions with Mexican Food and Pizza.

Ⓥegan sandwiches are my favorite. They are usually quick, easy and delicious. The bigger the sandwich, the better. The better the sandwich, the messier the sandwich. Let’s clean things up just a bit. And with the ingredients being so clean, how about a sandwich that doesn’t involve a few napkins.

A homemade Veggie Burger with a condiment//dressings sandwich within a sandwich.

A pre sandwich bicycle ride with a few Beers is a necessity. Open your throat and open your mind, responsibly and safely.

Thrice Baked Potatoes were prepared on the side. Simple and delicious.

A prior Rice concoction was utilized. I did not write down the ingredients. Along with the rice concoction, Carrots, Lightlife ‘sausage’ and ‘beef’, chopped Daiya and Instant Mashed potatoes were mended together and cooked in an oil-less copper skillet.

The condiment-wich was a mixture of Iceberg Lettuce, Vegenaise, Liquid Smoke, Garlic and chopped Spinach, Tomato, Onion & Avocado. Bigger Tortillas were warmed and stuffed with the mixed veggies and then folded shut. Gluten-free and Ⓥegan waffles were baked with Daiya and top. Dill Weed and Chipotle powder were lightly sprinkled on top before combining the waffles and condiments into sandwich form.

The Bun was spread (top and bottom insides) with Earth Balance Coconut Spread and Grilled face down. The Cleanwich was combined and cut in half to be plated with the Thrice Baked Potatoes and then destroyed, cleanly.

Zucchini Bread

A loaf of Zucchini Bread was prepared and gifted to myself from my wonderful mother a few days ago. Questions were not asked about what was in it. I thanked her and was excited to have it. Perfection is impossible. Vegan Zucchini Bread is possible (at a later time).

I mashed Bananas, blueberry and Daiya ‘cream cheese’. A Mortar and pestle from my college years crushed Raw mixed Nuts to be combined, also. A small splash of Pineapple Juice was also included.

The Zucchini Bread was grilled along with Pineapple slices. A blender blending appropriately.

Asparesto Margarita

Asparesto was marinated with its self for days.

Vegan Mozz was abundantly used to be topped off with the best Tomato slices I’ve ever had in Bushel Boy.

Washing dishes is one of my least favorite things to do. A bagged coleslaw mix literally was my mixing bowl for this concept. The mixture included diced Green Peppers, Tomato, Onion, Coleslaw mix, French Dressing, Vegenaise, Sunflower Seeds and SeaSalt/Pepper.

Lavash Bread is amazing and extremely versatile. Lavash Bread was lined peppered Tofurky slices, the Coleslaw mix and then rolled up to served cut in half with a Good Beer or three:)

Bicycle Ride

 

Every single opportunity prior to yesterday has been an impossible mission to partake in an organized ride. Weather or job has disrupted every ride. Somehow, someway this weekend that I normally work was ironically switched to work more in my favor. Yesterday, was a perfect day in Northern Central Illinois. The day finally reached mid eighties when our 5-10 mph wind metric century (65 ish miles) was complete. I rode with a great group of guys and had a lot of fun. Z Tour 2017 was my first ever organized ride.

Vegan food/snacks were consumed, multiple beers were enjoyed and a curious kitten was saved from bicycle trampling by yours truly.
