•Ⓥ• Stuffed Rigatoni Pizza Pi •Ⓥ•

Back Burner Marinara is made with Various canned Tomato products, Onion, Celery, Carrot, Herbs, Sugar, SeaSalt, Pepper, Garlic… And cooked down over time.

Make Super Ⓥausage. Grind raw Cashews into a chunky powder and mix with Lightlife ‘beef’ & ‘sausage’, Tempeh, Fennel Seed, Ghost Pepper marinated Smart Dawg, frozen hash brown patty cooked, chilled and then leftoveringly diced, Liquid Smoke, Veggie Broth and GarlicPowder/SeaSalt/Pepper/Sugar.

A bit of Back Burner Marinara was thickened in a separate pot with a little Instant Mashed Potatoes.

Cook Rigatoni, slightly overcooked, and rinse/cool. Cut Rigatoni in half (or leave intact) and stuff with Super Ⓥausage.

Clobber your (Ⓥ) Pizza Dough or Crust with thickened Back Burner Marinara. Weight that Pizza Sauce down with generous amounts of Capers. Excellent Sauce tends to want to float up to where its level of greatness actually is:)

Daiya needs to be a word already so my Mac doesn’t continue to try to correct the spelling. Daiya slices to contribute weight upon the Sauce. Stuffed Rigatoni is the next density to trap the ingredients together. Unfortunately, plant murder is my lifestyle. And after enough heat, the Sauce will not try and escape anymore.

Splash with more Back Burner Marinara after baking. Enjoy a Good Beer and have a great day!

Seitanish Ⓥeef & kraut Pi

Happy Sunday, y’all. Yet another spin Ⓥegan spin on “corned beef and cabbage” was on the agenda today. In commemoration of a recent Pi Day, let’s take this Irish cow murder staple and adapt into a plant-based pizza pie. But, first, how’s about a heavily headwind induced mixed surface bike hike with a couple of refreshing Beers.

I am a Potato addict.

A literal Spud Web ever expanding and ever spudful is my life. This adaptation was made oil-free with Veggie Broth, Garlic, Plum, Thyme, Sugar, Sea Salt, Pepper, purple and white baby Potatoes, Jameson Irish Whiskey, Seitan and faux chicken – Cheican? The plant-based protein does start to basically shred after a little while. Ⓥ-Thou Island is simply Vegenaise, Cucumber, Red Pepper, Scallions, Garlic Powder, Pepper and Cayenne mixed together all wonderful like. The pizza pie was Whole Wheat crust, Ⓥ-Thou Island, baby Potatoes, Seitan & Cheican. The Pi was baked, slightly, before adding Daiya and slightly baking more. Sauerkraut garnished this comforting Ⓥegan delight.

Ⓥicotta Lasagna Stuffed Pi

Chicago-style stuffed pizza pies used to be prepared everyday by me. They are a lot of fun with endless possibilities. Remastering of this concept will take place eventually. This concept was an all day event and was rather exhausting, but absolutely fitting. Fresh homemade dough was not used. And the next time this concept takes place, the dough will be done much differently.

Back Burner Marina is a great starting point as it needs time to become greatness. It is simply constructed of Celery, Onion, Carrot, Veggie Broth, Garlic, Tomatoes galore, Basil, SeaSalt/Pepper/Sugar/GarlicPowder, Balsamic, Cayenne and TIME.

The Ⓥicotta is a bit more complex. Eggplant was sliced and baked to be further chopped. Fennel Seed was thrown into the mortar and pestle to be slightly crushed with boiled Cashews. Thrown all together was the Eggplant, Fennel, Cashews, Garlic, Lime Juice, Molasses, Shallot, Spinach, Almond Milk, Balsamic Vinegar, SeaSalt, Pepper, Sugar, Liquid Smoke, GarlicPowder, OnionPowder and Cayenne. And the Pepe noodle balls 🙂

Noodles were boiled, drained, but not rinsed. Ⓥicotta was rolled up with the noodles. Dough was panned, while being nonstick Earth Balance was still utilized. Lasagna was put onto dough after Daiya and Back Burner Marinara. Dough was topped and sealed. The massive Pi was baked and then more Back Burner Marinara and Daiya was put on top to be broiled. This Pi was beastly.

Eat healthy. Drink quality. And enjoy your week as much as I will enjoy mine.

VEGAN Garlic Hawaiian Pizza

I will always be a pizza addict, I know. Once diagnosed, you have that illness for life. One thing about my disease is that I do not rely on animal torture and murder to get my fix on. I do, however, rely on plant genocide and slaughter to get my pizza fix. And I get off on the plants pain and torment. Perhaps, a psychopath. Perhaps, just a pizza addict. Perhaps, a pizza addict whom LOVES animals and LOVES personal wellbeing.

The relapses of pizza consumption are freaking delicious! I am a sick, sick man, but it’s worth it. I made an extremely garlic sauce including boiled (raw) Cashews & Potatoes that were pan-fried with diced Cauliflower and Onions before being blended with Vegetable Broth, Roasted Garlic, Parsley, Sea Salt, Pepper, Cayenne, Garlic Powder and Sugar.

The pizza construction will now commence. Pizza crust, Garlic Sauce, Avocado, Onion, Pineapple and DAIYA before putting the “Fakin’ Bacon” and Tofurky on. I’m cooking, now, at 215 degrees F. A slight broil here and there.

I chose not to ride today as I will be riding a decent ride tomorrow in the sub-freezing, yet, warmer sunny day. The memes saying Pineapple does not belong on Pizza are rude and incorrect.

#RideOn. #EatOn.

Garden Ⓥizza

Suffering from a pizza addiction might sound harmless and fun to most. I will forever fight to maintain my pizza relapsing to a minimum. Pizza very much still exists in a Vegan aspect. Animals not being murdered or abused in the process of this pizza addiction help another relapse to be cerebral intensified calming. Eat yo (Vegan) Pizza (responsibly).

I tried Vegan dough in a can. Fresh dough is out of my patience/lifestyle these days. It was good and easy. Combination of a Veggie Pizza with a Margherita-style pizza was my concept of this deliciously edible pie.

The “sauce” was a small mixture of OliveOil/BalsamicVinegarette/ Sriracha/Oregano/RoastedGarlic.

Conspiracies of Capers, Spinach, TOFU, Shallot and thinly sliced Tomatoes were made aware with truths of Daiya and Basil.

Daiya VS Daiya

I’ve been a huge fan of Daiya products for some time now. I love all of their Plant-Based ‘cheese’ products. I love their ‘cream cheese’ and wish I could try more and more of their products. They aren’t the cheapest products, but are at a very high standard of quality. And if I have the money, give me the good stuff!

I put Daiya up against themselves in a battle against plants. I cooked a frozen Daiya pizza and was super impressed. And then I took a page from my LBV (Low Budget Vegan) recipes and made a Daiya pizza and Daiya won!

I would never allow plants to lose.

Daiya Pie (LBV) ingredients:

  • Tortilla, XL
  • Sauce, store-bought pizza
  • Paprika
  • Daiya, mmmmmmmm
  • Spinach, baby sliced
  • Tomato, fresh and julienne sliced and salted
  • ‘Bacon’, plant-based

I paired both with a Rogue 4 Hop (session) IPA.

I originally planned on low-heat cooking the Daiya-prepared pie and then broiling to finish, if needed. I read the instructions and was shocked to hear it read, “cook at 475° F for 10-15 minutes.” I chose to follow the instructions only this once. I still had to broil to finish, but the aroma this tiny little plant-based Vegan pie produced was unreal! It’s worth the price just for that amazing aroma. The taste was very very good, as well.

I won’t consume Daiya pizza often as I am a (self) diagnosed pizza addict, but any reason for a pizza party – DAIYA will have a definite spot in the mix. For your next pizza party, give DAIYA a shot!

Ⓥegan ZZA

My favorite days are when I have time to create awesome food and have an outstanding ride on one of the bicycles. Today, being Monday “Fonday”, I made pizza, took a nap and attempted a ride. I only made it 7 km.

And I think it was because I read the temperature at 26-27 degrees Celsius and the wind blowing at 8 km/h and it was hot as shit and windy as shit. I need to stop checking the weather before I go and ride. Maybe just the radar. Or maybe I need to man up. Whatever the case being, I was not feeling a bigger ride today.

But, I made PIZZA. I am a pizza addict surviving life. The last time that I had pizza was June 22, 2015. That was before my Veganism lifestyle. Before my Veganism, I had the first of the month being my pizza day. And now, my pizza day is annually August 10, being Vegan Pizza Day.

I chose to make BBⓋ Tempeh, Roasted Ⓥeggie, Ⓥicago-Style Hot Dawg, Ⓥaco, MexiⓋano and Ⓥediterranean.

I just enjoyed a Arcadia Ales’ Sky High Rye and checked it in on Untappd for the 91st time, being the most in Untappdiverse. Not sure if I’m proud of that or not. It’s a delicious beer, though. I am currently listening to 3eb. Third Eye Blind might be my favorite feel-good band. And now I’m enjoying a Schlitz. I wish that I could find 16oz cans of Schlitz. I’ve only seen them at The Castle Theater in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois.

How’s it Gonna Be

I found a truly hilarious movie on Netflix last year called Awful Nice. I repeatedly watched it and watched it again last night. Also, this annual Pizza Day is stretching into three days…. Oh, well. I’ve also been blogging these words for the same three days. Here’s a sum of the movie I think is unbelievably funny.

Awful Nice Preview

And now that I’ve mentioned Netflix, I’ll have to mention a few others. As of the 15th of 2015 August these are on Netflix. From 1991, Ed O’neill and Ethan Embry deliver this now 24 year old classic. JUST WATCH IT.

Dutch Preview

Another is The History of Future Folk. A feel-good movie that is very well put together. Future Folk Preview

And lastly, I just watched this last night (8.14.15) as it was just put on Netflix this week. I first was introduced to this comedian years ago when you was on The Daily Show talking about myspace. He has had his own show with his own style of comedy on Comedy Central that I found hilarious.

Demetri Martin: Live (At the Time)

Ⓥediterranean Pizza ingredients:

  • Tofu, firm
  • Spinach, present
  • Onion, white and julienned
  • Tomato, roma julienne sliced
  • Artichoke Hearts, canned whole sliced
  • Kalamata Olives, cut long ways
  • Daiya, white and yellow
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Pizza Dough
  • Sriracha, cock sauce
  • Balsamic Vinegar
  • SeaSalt/GarlicP/OnionP/DillWeed

  • First, infuse your Tofu with SeaSalt/GarlicP/OnionP/DillWeed, Balsamic Vinegar & Sriracha. Get your dough stretched and put on pan. I sometimes like to fold the dough over to make a thicker crust.
  • I topped Pizza Sauce, Spinach, Daiya, Tomato, Onion, Olives, Artichokes & Daiya. I could’ve baked for 5 minutes longer, but I was impatiently hungry.

Perfect Situation

Monday night, I made two pizzas somewhat tipsy. Hence, the picture quality. They were made well, just not perfectly. The two styles of Pizza were the Ⓥicago-Style Dawg Pizza and The MexiⓋano-Style Pizza.

Ⓥicago-Style DawgZza ingredients:

  • Pizza Dough
  • Pizza Sauce
  • LightLife Smart Dogs, sliced and grilled
  • Sauerkraut, drained
  • Onion, red and julienned
  • Tomato, roma and julienned
  • Cucumber, diced
  • Daiya, mozz-style
  • Scallions or Mustard, for garnish

  • Get everything chopped/sliced/grilled and ready. Dough is ready with some sauce, just add toppings and Daiya and garnish how you’d like. This one is a treat.
  • Only Hunter Pence uses ketchup on DAWGS, dog. GO CUBBIES. That sweep against the SFGiants was HUGE.

Ⓥexicano Pizza ingredients:

  • Pizza Dough
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Tempeh, chicken-like sliced
  • Daiya, orange and white
  • Black Beans, rinsed and dried
  • Corn Kernels, rinsed and dried
  • Cilantro, chopped for garnish
  • Scallions, sliced for garnish
  • Cayenne/Pepper/Sriracha/ChiliP/GarlicP/OnionP

  • Mix Cayenne/Pepper/Sriracha/ChiliP/GarlicP/OnionP with Tempeh softly leaving Tempeh intact.
  • Top Pizza Dough with Sauce, Daiya and toppings.
  • Bake and Garnish with Scallions and Cilantro. Apologies for the picture quality.

Jon from Vegan Zombie

AvocadoNaise ingredients:

  • Acocado, peeled and chopped
  • Vegenaise, mmmmmmmm
  • Cilantro, finely chopped
  • Scallion, sliced
  • Lemon, juice

Mix while not trying to consume all on the spot.

 Ⓥaco Pizza ingredients:

  • Tempeh, crumbled
  • Tofu, crumbled and infused (see Ⓥediterranean (above))
  • Sriracha/BalsamicVinegar/Cayenne/Turmeric/GetchaSum!/Cumin
  • Black Beans, rinsed and dried
  • Corn Kernels, rinsed and dried
  • Daiya, orange-mmmmmmmm
  • Daiya, white-mmmmmmmm
  • Pizza Dough
  • Pizza Sauce
  • Iceberg Lettuce, chopped finely
  • Onion, red-julienned
  • Tomato, roma-julienned
  • Olives, black-halved
  • AvocadoNaise, tasty!

  • Preparations before hand is easier. Like always…
  • Mix already infused Tofu with the crumbled Tempeh and infuse that with eventually infused Sriracha/BalsamicVinegar/Cayenne/Turmeric/GetchaSum!/Cumin, BUT do not get confused
  • I went Pizza Dough, Pizza Sauce, Beans, Corn, Tempeh/Tofu, orange Daiya and then baked.
  • I cut the pizza when finished baking.
  • I topped the already topped finished pizza with Lettuce, more Beans and Corn, the white Daiya, AvocadoNaise (plopped in center), Tomato and Onion nicely around the AvocadoNaise, and to top it completely off, Black Olives around the perimeter of the AvocadoNaise or beginning of Mount AvocadoNaise.

They might be considered foothills, but I’m not too sure. Eat and enjoy with a stack of napkins or hand/face wash station nearby. Better yet, it wouldn’t hurt to have an eye wash station close by either. Depending on amount and time of Ⓥaco Pizza, it can get super messy. Clean up and #RideOn!
