A recreation, Vegan Shepherdless Pi, roamed free. Multiple attempts were made to find my previous recipe, however, failure and apathy became victorious.
Beyond Meat Crumbles and Soy ‘chorizo’were panfried in light Oil to be combined with Potatoes O’brien (Potato, Onion, Peppers, Corn, Boiled chopped Carrot, Garlic and Seasonings (sriracha, Oregano, Sea Salt, Pepper & Crushed Red Peppers).
Due to lacking ingredients, Water was used instead of NonDairy product or Veggie Broth. Rice (Brown, Quinoa, Wild), Red Onion, Black Beans, Vegan ‘parmesan’, Nutri Yeast, Dill Weed, Sea Salt and Spinach were prepared with Instant Mashed Potatoes to the desired consistency.
In the pan that the Vegan Crumbles awesomeness were prepared in, the Mashed Potato greatness covered. Chipotle seasoning was generously sprinkled on top and was tossed into the oven. After a slight broil, pictures and consumption followed.
Raw texture and flavor between warmed Flour Tortillas were prepared, yesterday, after a bicycle ride.
Green & Red Peppers were chopped and mixed with Onion, Tomato, Jalapeño, Vegan ‘parmesan’, Daiya, Olive, Mustard and Vegenaise.
Spinach and Avocado helped complete the raw deliciousness of these uncooked veggies.
In the Arizona Desert, activity is common in the mornings and evenings to utilize daylight and (somewhat) comfortable conditions. Walking with a beer, I find a prickly tree to set my beer on to check in online.
The food ideas flood my mind like a flash-flood.
BBQ Sauce, Craft Mustard, Chipotle and Veggie broth were mixed to create my mushroom sauce. The Portobello Cap was drenched with sauce in and out, above and below a hot oven.
Garlic, Onion, Crushed Red Peppers and sliced spinach was slightly warmed.
Earth Balance ‘butter’ smothered buns were crisped. CHEERS.
Beyond Meat’s Beyond Beef was used, but thinned out to adding wholesome veggie heartiness and texture.
An instant Rice mixture (Brown, Red, Wild & Quinoa), Pico de Gallo, Tomato Sauce, Roasted Garlic, Roasted Corn, Sweet Potato, Daiya and light seasonings were mixed with the Beyond Beef. Controlling consistency was instant Mashed Potatoes.
An Earth Balance’d Bun was topped, one side – Ⓥ ‘sour cream’ & Cilantro, the other – Refried Beans (Pinto, Chipotle in Adobe, Garlic, Carrot, Crushed Red Pepper, Nutri Yeast and Cilantro).
Spinach, Tomato Sauce, Daiya and the Taco Pizza Burger completed this hefty sandwich. Cheers.
Comfort food is my favorite. Vegan comfort food, to me, is always missing something. I want a fat freaking Vegan sandwich. Let’s make it happen.
Beyond Meat is crazily making Vegan foods imitate real meat. They do a wonderful job, but their style isn’t my style. Less meat-likeness and more non-, meat-ness.
A 1/2 lb Vegan sandwich was created. Cheers.
Mac N Daiya was prepared as normal for a second. Imagination was evident and severely utilized. Fire roasted tomatoes, Chives and Cucumber were added to the slightly undercooked Mac. Crushed Red Peppers and Soy ‘chorizo’ was mixed in on a low//medium heat before adding the mouth watering Daiya ‘cheese’. Lightly salted and peppered, excitement was immense.
A single ingredient can light a spark in the mind that infuses multiple sparks to reuse ideas with a new concept and, BOOM, let’s make food today like this………….
Daiya ‘string cheese’ was found! I’ve been in love with Daiya for many of years now, bringing dairy-free deliciousness to my beloved comfort food. And excuse to make a pizza pi….. any excuse…. Vegan Pizza does not count as a relapse, in my book:)
Forever a Pizza Addict, a delicious pizza was made with a Daiya stuffed crust. I added the MacN Daiya with a bit more Daiya, some Smart ‘bacon’ and (:OMG:) Vegan ‘parm’ and Earth Balance ‘butter’ CRUST.
